With the recent e-invoicing regulations issued by Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA), respective tax payers must link their accounting systems and generate e-invoices through the e-invoicing portal of ETA. Based on the ETA guidelines and decrees issued thereunder, it is recommended to evaluate your tax position on e-invoicing obligations.
Therefore, as a seller, it is your obligation to generate applicable tax invoices and credit notes from your accounting systems to comply with the ETA regulations. Consequently, noon will provide customers their order details in the form of a purchase summary for ease, detailing the products purchased from you at an all inclusive price.

How can I provide customers their tax invoices and credit notes?
Customers can request invoices and credit notes from noon. After that, we'll notify you, and you'll have two (2) business days (excluding Fridays and public holidays) to provide the invoice/credit note so that we may send it to our customer. If you fail to provide an invoice to the customer, noon will charge you the item price if the buyer customer requests a refund. We strongly recommend that you immediately issue tax invoices and credit notes with every sale and return so that they are always ready to be shared with our customers instantly.
Where can I access the purchase summaries provided by noon?
A purchase summary is not a tax invoice, it is a document that lists products that a specific customer purchased from you at an all inclusive price. You can access purchase summaries on your Seller Station by following the below listed steps:
- On Core, click Statements, then Invoices or Credit Notes
- Click the ellipsis (...) to download the statement
The purchase summary will state details relevant to each customer order without the VAT breakdown.
