All shipments back to sellers appear on this page according to the date and the status of the shipment. Open the shipment of your choice to access details about the products that will be returned back to you.
Types of RTV:
1. Pre-ship:
After items are handed over to logistics, they go through a quality check. Items that haven't passed the quality check will be returned back to the seller within seven (7) days, and will reflect in Pre-ship RTVs.
2. Graded:
A graded RTV transfer includes all items that were returned by customers, or undelivered to customers either because they cancelled their order, or because noon's delivery team couldn't locate the customer's address. After these returns go through quality check at noon’s warehouse, such items are either returned to the seller or restocked in the inventory based on their condition, and the seller's agreed returns strategy.
If any such returned items qualify as “good inventory and eligible for sale”, noon shall store such items at our warehouse to fulfill any subsequent customer orders based on the seller’s preference defined in Seller Lab. As for all non-saleable inventory, a grade is assigned to every returned item upon receipt of said item for which noon will compensate the seller according to the below table.
As part of the standard process, these items are also delivered back to sellers within a week from the completion of the quality check process. Learn more about the item grading & disputes process, and the returns, cancellation, and seller protection policy
Grade | Grade Description | Compensation |
A | Saleable and put back in stock | 0% |
B | Dead on arrival (for smart devices)/ manufacturing defect | 5% |
C | Accessory missing + box with dents | 15% |
D | Accessory missing + product with dents | 20% |
X | Logistics damages, product lost during return logistics | 100% |
- Graded RTV transfers appear on the RTV page on Seller Lab with a Graded Zone Code.
3. Return
It's important for sellers to accept all RTV transfers when delivered to their location. If there are issues with the delivered items, sellers should accept the RTV, then raise a dispute within 14 days on Seller Lab to express their concern, and noon logistics will collect the items back from the seller.
Return RTV transfers constitute items that were rejected by the seller when returned back to them multiple times. This scenario isn't ideal as it by-passes the process, and could represent a challenge in addressing the seller's issues related to those items.
You can raise a dispute directly from the shipment page for Preship, Stock, and Return RTVs.
