Understanding the difference between a deal event and a deal
A "Deal Event" represents a period of time with a certain theme, like RAMADAN, YELLOW FRIDAY, BACK TO SCHOOL etc. At any given time only one single deal event will be active for a country. Each deal event is assigned a unique deal_event_code which you should save to use while importing your products, and which you can get from the seller support team.
To enter a deal event you will need to specify your deal event price and deal event stock for each product that you want to add. Once the deal event is active the deal event price will be displayed for your products for as long as you have deal stock remaining.
Under each deal event, there can be multiple additional deals. noon "Hero" and "Mega" deals allow you to offer more aggressive prices for a very short period of time - 4 hours, or 24 hours, etc, and they are usually listed on the home page of noon. Alternatively, there can be a category or theme-specific deals such as ELECTRONICS, HOME APPLIANCES, FASHION, COOKWARE.
If multiple deals are active at the same time then the one that has the highest priority will be live.
There is only one single deal event stock and that stock will be shared across any active deals you are participating in.
Once your deal event price has been set it cannot be increased again for the duration of the deal event, so ensure your prices are correct when making your initial import.
Important deal terms
Deal price
The deal price of the highest priority deal that is currently active. If multiple deals are active this will be the value from the highest priority deal. For example, if the initial deal event price you set was 100 and there is a higher priority deal active with a deal price of 80, the deal price that will be shown will be 80.
Deal stock
This is the deal_event_stock which you have uploaded for this deal event. This stock is shared across all your deals in a single event. To add more stock you should import the product to the deal event again with the increased value
Deal_events and deals are only applied on FBN stock, so please make sure you have FBN stock to dedicate some to your deal_events & deals.
