noon takes its responsibility to customers very seriously and as valuable stakeholders of the noon family, we need you, sellers, to be cautious about products that are sent to us.
We want you to make sure that all your Apple devices are NOT pre-activated when handing over to noon. This applies to sellers in all business models. Apple devices have to be activated by the end-customer as the warranty period of the device starts from the activation date. Any device that reaches the customer pre-activated, loses a part or whole of its warranty.
Please review the activation status using the Apple Website before handing over the device(s) to noon.
Apple devices that are refurbished CANNOT be handed over to noon as brand new. As a responsible seller on our online marketplace, we’d like you to be aware of the products you send across to fulfill your orders.
You may use the same link on the Apple Website to find out if your device is brand-new before handing over the device(s) to noon.
Stolen/Network Blocked Devices
As an online marketplace, noon has a zero-tolerance policy towards listings of Stolen or Network Blocked Devices;
- If the device was reported/ listed as stolen or blacklisted in any country.
- If the device gets network blocked/locked after software update.
The sole responsibility lies with the seller/ partner for any consequences faced from customer experience and legal perspective.
iPhone Offer Listing Update - Japanese Version
When listing an offer for a Japanese spec Apple iPhone, it is mandatory that you mention its version in the offer note. The offer note should read “Japan specs - Camera with shutter sound always ON”.
The addition of the above offer note allows the customer to make an informed decision on their purchase. If a customer received a Japanese spec iPhone device without an offer note, the customer reserves the right to return an open box device to the seller.
Failure to adhere to the above guideline will result in offer disapprovals and further penalties to your store based on the scenario.
